Quench the Thirst 2023
The Beta Phi Delta Foundation’s Annual Quench The Thirst Campaign is our way to help support students by providing water, sports drinks, snacks to students in band programs. One of the biggest ways to ensure the safety of these students is to make sure they are adequately hydrated throughout practices, performances and parades. It is also beneficial to make sure these students have sufficient nourishment replacement while doing these rigorous activities. Unfortunately, we have learned that students participating in programs like band are not well funded or at a disadvantage and a lack the money to provide the adequate amount of hydration to keep the students healthy and safe. Last year The Beta Phi delta Foundation was able to purchase water and sports drinks to hydrate several Marching Bands in South Florida and North Carolina with plans to help schools in North Florida and Georgia too. This upcoming season we want to help as many schools and students as possible. It is very concerning to our foundation when we hear of students passing out because they were dehydrated or were malnourished.
While we have made some great strides, The Beta Phi Delta Foundation still has a lot to accomplish. We need your support to Quench the Thirst!
